Estudio Persona
A Los Angeles-based furniture and design studio founded by Emiliana Gonzalez and Jessie Young. Since their launch in 2015, their work has become a quiet force in the industry, featured in Dezeen, Architectural Digest, Monocle, and Vogue Living. Originally from Uruguay, the pair bring a minimal, sculptural sensibility shaped by their South American roots, blending bold silhouettes, neutral tones and raw, honest materials. With deep respect for traditional craftsmanship and curiosity to push boundaries, they create pieces that sit at the intersection of furniture and art.
Estudio Persona shares our belief that craftsmanship and honest materials speak for themselves – a conviction that made this collaboration a natural fit. FRAME marks their first outdoor furniture collection, and our own first collaboration with a US design studio. Drawing on the bold, graphic language of Brutalist architecture, FRAME is an exploration of functionality and sculpture.
The four pieces – a daybed, lounge chair, coffee table and side table – are defined by an architectural solid teak frame, finished in a rich walnut stain that reveals and amplifies the grain of the natural wood. Repeated simple geometries are softened at the corners and edges. On the daybed and lounge chair, hardwearing natural canvas – woven partially from post-industrial recycled fibre – adds a relaxed, lighter layer. On the tables, the shape turns monolithic – solid, grounded forms with waterfall edges that read as a single continuous plane of wood.

Materials
Wood and canvas sit at opposite ends of the material story, and that contrast is the point. "Wood was the perfect material to reinforce the sense of permanence and warmth we were trying to achieve. Combined with the lightness of canvas, it creates a contrast and tension that makes the expression of the frame stand out." – Estudio Persona
Craftsmanship
The silhouette looks deceptively simple. Every joint and fixing point is designed to stay out of view, so nothing interrupts the line of the frame. It takes precision and skilled craftsmanship to make that complexity disappear.
