Tdf Design Awards Finalists Announced
As Eco Outdoor is the major sponsor of the TDF Design Awards ‘Landscape Design’ Category, we thought we’d share the 10 projects shortlisted. Judged by Rick Eckersley, Paul Bangay and Georgina Reid, the winners will be announced at the TDF awards presentation on Thursday 19th September at Federation Square, Melbourne.

Inspired by the red desert sand of the East Pilbara, East Pilbara Arts Centre is a gallery purposely-built for the Martu communities. Designed by Alexandra Farrington, there is a blurred threshold between inside the building and the rolling landscape.

The Pavilion Courtyard Garden surrounds an 1870’s former corner pub, now a family home. Every room has views into the intimate courtyard that has been cleverly divided into zones to enhance the sense of space.
