Maison et Object 2015

Maison et Object Paris is on again. The theme this year is ‘Precious’ and artists from all over the world have been invited to contribute installations that touch on this theme. One of our favourites so far is the Jardin Floral Flottant by Tokyo’s teamLab. The team there have created a floating flower garden filled with over 2100 living flowers that floats up and down as you walk through it. . As you enter the flowers start to rise upwards so that you walk, surrounded by them as they descend down to envelop you.  What’s more the scent filling the room changes from hour to hour as the plants move about and the insects flitter from one stem to another. Truly breathtaking.
