Our Glazed Lava Sticks are a contemporary reimagining of ancient materiality and time-honoured craftsmanship. Made from molten lava that has cooled to stone, each tile is stamped with markers of a volcanic eruption – trapped air bubbles, glittering metallic fragments and dark, mineral-speckled surfaces. Inspired by traditional Japanese tiles, the slim, elegant lava sticks are cut and glazed by hand to capture the stone’s raw texture. This innovative format is available in a range of curated colours – milky whites, smoky greys, and deep blues and greens.
